It has been a while, so in this post I would love to give you an update on all the great things that God has been doing and is going to do here.
First I would like to tell you something about last year. God blessed me with some big successes. There was a very difficult situation and a fight between our church and local politicians, but thank God the conflict is now calmed down.
For the people in our community, we were able to organize a big Christmas celebration. This was also a big success. Lots of people came and we had a nice program for both the kids and adults!
The new year has already started off very well, I believe God is going to do even bigger things than last year. Just this week, I was able to take about 30 young people from my community to a youth conference in Chennai, which is about 6 hours by train from my place. There was so much youth at this conference and we had a very blessed and encouraging time. We met a lot of people and were taught many things. My youth group learned about having a relationship with God and to have unity and fellowship with others. About 20 guys were able to break with their bad habits of smoking and drinking and about 35 girls were also able to break bad habits by the grace of God. At the end everybody was filled with the Holy Spirit and was speaking in tongues. They all shared their testimony and the presence of God made everyone very emotional. Praise God for this wonderful event!
Our church has been blessed with more and more people over time. I can’t believe it, but our building has become too small for worship services. We have a lot of new small groups in which people from our church can meet and have fellowship. The youth is conducting a Sunday morning and evening service!
I still have to process all that has happened, but the next big thing is already around the corner.
Next week I will be travelling to Singapore with my family to do ministry and also for a YWAM conference there. We are working together with YWAM more and more and we believe this time will be a great blessing to us and our ministry here in India. After Singapore, we hope to visit Malaysia for ministry purposes.
